NATURE ART
GORDON D’ARCY’S ART is inspired by nature. He has been drawing and painting since childhood. Birds are the main theme but he also paints plants, animals, landscapes and other nature themes stimulated by travels in Europe, Africa and America. Much of his early work is realistic but latterly it is stylised and influenced by design. He works in several media including oil pastel, acrylic, water colour and scraperboard. He has held several EXHIBITIONS in Ireland, the UK and America.
His works include commissions for public art work for Local Authorities and communities. as well as poster commissions for the Irish Peatland Conservation Council and the Parks and Wildlife Service.
